Saward Dawson is going the next step to assist our clients by conducting a series of seminars specifically designed to provide practical application in improving governance. In this session we will focus specifically on role of the chairperson.
The Board chairperson plays a key role in establishing quality governance practices in relation to strategy, risk, Board development and renewal. All this while developing and maintaining an effective working relationship with the CEO.
In this session we will investigate successful techniques to effectively undertake the key role of chairperson.

Skills of an effective chairperson
Chairing an effective meeting
Establishing a board plan /calendar
Driving optimal decision making
Leading an effective Board.
This session is specifically designed for current or aspiring chairpersons looking to more fully understand their role and responsibilities. The session is limited to 20 participants to allow for discussion and networking. Jeff Tulk our Head of Governance and Financial Reporting will facilitate this session. Jeff is an experienced trainer and facilitator and regularly presents for the Governance Institute and the Chartered Accountants ANZ.
