Have you taken the time to consider your risk management strategy for the
emerging risks in the current environment?
Thursday 27 October 2016
Our governance series is continuing in 2016 in order to assist our clients’ governance practices with specifically designed and practical seminars.
Implementing a risk management plan is a key component of the governance practices in any organisation. Regular review of emerging risks and reconsidering risk management strategies is critical in making risk management effective.
In this interactive session we will discuss and consider a number of emerging risks in the current environment and consider alternative approaches to the management of these risks.
Topics to be discuss will include:
An overview of risk management frameworks
Regulation and compliance changes relating to emerging risks
Embedding risk management into organisational decision making
This session is specifically designed for Board members and managers looking to improve their understanding and re-evaluate their current risk management processes. The session is limited to 20 participants to allow for discussion and networking. Jeff Tulk our Head of Governance and Financial Reporting will facilitate this session. Jeff is a qualified Chartered Accountant, a graduate of the AICD and an experienced trainer and facilitator who regularly presents for the Governance Institute.
