A fragile climate

Australia has so much to offer: spectacular natural beauty, wide open spaces and a very high standard of living. But we have been reminded of the need to take nothing for granted.

Foremost in the minds of all Australians has been the devastating Victorian bushfires. Many of our staff, clients and friends have been affected directly. We have allocated additional space in this Infocus to tell some stories emerging from the bushfires.

Also in this issue, we bring you an overview of the one-off bonus payments and other incentives that the Government is making available over the next couple of months.

Surviving the financial crisis workshop

As the global financial crisis really starts to impact Australian businesses, we have planned a special breakfast workshop on 1 April 2009.

Bruce Saward of Saward Dawson will look at the financial and business aspects required to work through difficult economic times. Tania Hannath of People Axis will look at the immediate people issues and positioning for the long term.

Consider inviting a colleague or friend to this special breakfast. Bookings can be made by calling our Reception on 9894 2500 or  direct on our website. Cost for this breakfast workshop will be $25.00 (incl. GST).
