Tough people issues
Stressful but they need to be dealt with
Thursday
23 April 2009
There are many difficult issues involved in
managing people. Challenging economic
times can bring these issues to a head.
Managing poor performers
Poor performers are costly to employers. In these uncertain times,
they place a burden on already stretched people and resources. Management
are often reluctant to deal with this difficult issue for fear of getting it
wrong. There are some key requirements, processes and support structures
that will ensure that it is done properly.
Redundancy issues
Some employers are faced with no other option than to implement
redundancies. Few employers realise that a poorly managed redundancy process
can cost them dearly, both in staff morale and financially. Getting it right
is essential.
This workshop will look at the practical aspects of managing poor performers
and implementing
redundancies as well as some of the other issues that can help employers during
this stressful time.
