The
most important workplace
legislation in decades
The Government's Fair Work
Act is being implemented.
Is your business compliant?
For Business Owners, CFOs, CEOs, General Managers
and HR staff
Tuesday
27 October 2009
It’s the most important piece of workplace legislation for decades,
overhauling Australia’s Industrial Relations system with new requirements
and terminology.
Half of the Fair Work Act has been passed (1 July 2009) with the second half
due on 1 January 2010. Understanding how the new system affects your
business is more important than ever.
We will look at some of the critical issues employers should be aware of
under the new legislation including:
 |
Managing employee performance fairly and lawfully |
 |
Dismissals under the Fair Work Act |
 |
The new National Employment Standards |
 |
Modern Awards and |
 |
Workplace rights and adverse action |
