Rowan Cooper pulls up the stumps
After more than 16 years at Saward Dawson, Rowan Cooper is retiring at Christmas. Rowan has worked behind the scenes for the firm assuming a variety of roles including IT support, IT tools development, facilities management and being available to do anything that was asked of him.
Rowan has been instrumental in automating a large number of processes within the firm and we will have many software tools resident on our computers that will remind us of his role for many years to come. Rowan has passed the baton for his IT related tasks to Ben Humphries who has, over the last 6 months or so, been learning all of the details of the various tools and our systems generally.
Rowan is a passionate golfer, Melbourne Football Club supporter, cricket fan and follows most things sport. He also loves to spend time in his garden and plans to spend more time on his bike post retirement. It appears that Rowan won’t have any difficulty finding things to do!
During his time at Saward Dawson Rowan has completed the Upstream Foundation 50km walk for 15 consecutive years and has raised approximately $50,000 for charity – that’s a lot of lives that have been changed. Thank you Rowan.
We thank Rowan for his contribution to Saward Dawson, his enthusiastic support for the firm and for his fantastic fundraising efforts and wish him a great retirement with lots of action and fun.
